inspired by the tremendous feedback on Julian Assanges “leaks” at the end of 2010, we did this poster in order to manifest our sympathy on what this man is fighting for: transparency. The work mixes the face of Assange and La Bocca della Verità ("the Mouth of Truth"), a sculpture carved from marble, of a man-like face, located in the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin in Rome. The most famous characteristic of La Bocca is its role as a lie detector - it was believed that if one told a lie with one's hand in the mouth of the sculpture, it would be bitten off. ...
